Afrinnovative Youth Competition (AYC) 2024:
In November 2024, the vibrant city of Tanzania became the stage for an incredible showcase of youth innovation and entrepreneurship during the Afrinovative Youth Competition (AYC). This groundbreaking event, run by E3empower Africa, marked the culmination of a transformative journey that began in April, under the JA Africa Social Equity Program (SEP) – a six-month entrepreneurship training initiative aimed at empowering the youth, generously sponsored by the ZZF Foundation.
The Journey: Social Equity Program (SEP)
From April to October, the JA Africa SEP, with the support of the ZZF Foundation, reached an astounding 7,000 young individuals, aged 16 to 25. The program conducted 59 intensive boot camps, equipping participants with vital entrepreneurial skills, mentorship, and resources to turn their dreams into impactful ventures. The program not only nurtured business acumen but also fostered a spirit of innovation, collaboration, and social equity among participants.
The Grand Finale: Afrinovative Youth Competition (AYC)
On a spirited November day, the AYC brought together 10 outstanding finalists, each representing the pinnacle of creativity and entrepreneurial excellence. These young visionaries competed in a dynamic event showcasing groundbreaking ideas poised to drive social and economic transformation.

The competition’s winners were recognized with prizes that underscored their innovation and potential:
- Grand Winner: $3,000
